“We engaged Heather’s design services to help us fundamentally and completely remodel the interior of our mid-1960’s ranch home. Our goal was to seek a timeless feeling and style that would update the house with current surfaces and systems, accommodate and be reflective of the 1960’s vintage of the home, and serve us well in our retirement years. While pointing out that styles and designs change so often that it is difficult to create a strictly classic or timeless design, Heather did an exemplary job of achieving our goals and creating a comfortable, functional and pleasing residence that included a fully remodeled kitchen, remodeled bath rooms, updated interior and exterior paint colors, and all new tile, carpet, hardwood flooring, doors, trim, baseboards, light fixtures and hardware throughout. She was also willing to provide us advice as to appliance selection and the placement of artwork and furnishings. “Heather is like having a good friend who has knowledge of the construction process, materials, and is willing to do all the leg work to complete a project. After discussing our ideas about the remodeling of our retro bathroom and the complete rebuilding of a second bathroom, she took measurements, made her suggestions, and drew floor plans. She even designed and drew plans for each tile in our retro bathroom. She researched fixtures, floor coverings, hardware, lighting, tile, paint colors----everything for the project and brought pictures or samples for us to make the final decisions. She then coordinated with the contractor, trades, and vendors to purchase everything. She even found the correct screw for our retro cabinet.
